To allow as many people as possible to enjoy the Games, La Terrasse des Jeux will open in the run-up to the competition and between the Olympic and Paralympic Games:
Designed to accommodate up to 2,500 people simultaneously in classic configuration, and up to 12,000 for special events, the site will be accessible to all, for free.
La Terrasse des Jeux, with its elevated terrace designed for relaxation and dining, provides a unique vantage point of Paris's iconic landmarks: the Seine at sunset, charming bookshops, and heritage sites, including the notable Notre-Dame-de-Paris.
Assembly is scheduled to start at the end of June 2024, with dismantling scheduled for September 20, 2024.

To liven up the Terrasse des Jeux on the Hôtel de Ville forecourt, the City of Paris relies on Parisian and Ile-de-France contributors to enrich its sports and cultural programming and showcase its talents and structures: Carreau du Temple, Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat, Fier Play, Ligue Île-de-France Rugby, Ancuisine, Compagnie Break Dance Crew Paris, Pétancoeurs, Paris Université Club, Moove Toi, Pilates Booty, Si Si La Paillette… and many others.
Designed to appeal to the widest possible audience, the program features activities for all ages, including a children's zone, physical activities for the disabled and activities for senior citizens. A number of French and international athletes and ambassadors will also be joining in the festivities to celebrate the Games with the general public.
