Relive the joy of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games that captured hearts and minds this summer. This exhibition at the Salle Saint-Jean in the Hôtel de Ville promises to capture moments of jubilation that sparked collective joy. Rather than being exhaustive or descriptive, it invites you to dive back into this summer's action.
Relive the emotion of this summer's ceremonies and celebrations
After waiting over a century toi return to Paris, these Games were more than just a sporting event, even if they were the biggest on the planet. They were an exceptional human adventure, a epic collective moment that marked the history of the capital and the Olympics. They will continue to shape our city. And the proof is in the incredible stories, the athletes who made us dream, and the powerful moments that left their mark.
"Olympic and Paralympic Games, Happy Days" (Les Jours Heureux)brings the emotion of the opening and closing ceremonies to life as well as the fervor and joy of the spectators.
Immersive scenography
The exhibition will open with a presentation of iconic objects from the Games, as well as portfolios and projections by authors who have reflected on the event. A ceremonies tunnel will allow visitors to relive highlights of the opening and closing ceremonies imagined by Thomas Jolly. There will also be a "photo call" area on a real Olympic podium allowing you to capture the special moment for yourself. Finally, the mezzanine will celebrate sport in the city, with cycling, triathlon and marathon events in the streets of Paris and in the Seine. The "Phryges" will also be the exhibition's guest stars!
Immerse yourself in joyful memories and explore this exhibition with the same carefree spirit as the summer of 2024. Relive and recreate your Games!
