As part of the program to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Théâtre Irruptionnel company and associates are presenting an exhibition of sculptures inspired by the great names of LandArt.
Contre Nature #2 is a proposed stroll for visitors to the Parc Sainte-Périne. It echoes the artistic movements common to the visual and performing arts: naturalism and realism, which began in the late 19th century. At the time, certain artists sought to imitate and reproduce nature as realistically as possible. But can we really imitate nature? Can we do better than it?
The tour continues at the Théâtre de Verdure du Jardin Shakespeare from June 1 to September 22, where Contre Nature #1 is presented in other forms.
