What will security and traffic perimeters be like around the venue?

The Paris Police Prefecture has set up perimeters around the competition venues to ensure the safety of spectators, athletes and local residents during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
These perimeters will be set up simultaneously around venues on each competition day, two and a half hours before the start of the first event, and will be lifted one hour after the end of the last event. The gates to competition sites will open one and a half hours before the start of events.

What will access be like in red perimeter zones?

The red perimeter is a protected area where motorized access is prohibited, unless specifically authorized.
The Police Prefecture has set up a digital platform to simplify the management of motorized traffic and ensure smoother access to red perimeters for authorized persons.
Pedestrians and bicycle users do not need to register on the platform.
