Safety and traffic perimeters
The Paris Police Prefecture has set up perimeters around the competition venues to ensure the safety of spectators, athletes and local residents during the Paralympic Games.
These perimeters will be activated simultaneously around the venues on each competition day, two and a half hours before the start of the first event, and will be lifted one hour after the end of the last event. The gates to the competition sites will open one and a half hours before the start of the sporting sessions.

Accessing the red perimeter
The red perimeter is a protected area where motorized access is prohibited, unless specifically authorized.
In the spring, the Prefecture de Police set up a digital platform to simplify the management of motorized traffic exemptions and ensure smoother access to red perimeters for authorized persons.
Pedestrians and bicycles do not need to register on the platform.
