On Sunday September 8, the Stade de France will be transformed into a huge dancefloor to close out the Paralympic Games! From 8:30 pm to 11 pm, 24 French DJs will host the final event of the Paris 2024 Games. It will include the athletes' parade and the handover to Los Angeles.
The Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony will be an emotional occasion: it will mark the end of an exceptional summer that saw sporting feats and a party like atmosphere in the streets, festivity sites and stadiums. Who better then, than DJs to keep the party going for as long as possible?
There will be 24 rotating artists hosting the event, which takes place at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis) on Sunday September 8. Here's the program for this wild evening.

A grand parade and a handover

Starting at 8:30 p.m., the 4,400 Paralympic athletes who have thrilled us for eleven days will parade through the Stade de France. This great moment for the 168 delegations will be followed by a highly symbolic gesture: the handover from Paris to Los Angeles, the next city to host the Paralympic Games in 2028.
Then the world's biggest electro party kicks off! This concept was envisioned by Thomas Jolly, who orchestrated all of the Paris 2024 Games ceremonies. For this last one, he will collaborate with Victor Le Masne.

Jean-Michel Jarre, Étienne de Crécy and many others!

The musical segment will start with Jean-Michel Jarre, the man who currently holds the record for uniting the most people ever at a single concert. In 1997, he played in front of 3.5 million people in Moscow (a feat certified by the Guinness Book of Records). On Sunday, he will delight the 80,000 spectators at the Stade de France and the hundreds of millions who will follow the ceremony on television.
Jean-Michel Jarre can count on 23 other French DJs, from all generations, to take over from him until 11 pm. In addition to French electro legends Étienne de Crécy, Cassius and Kavinsky, rising stars such as Anetha, Polo & Pan, Irène Drésel and Boston Bun will also perform.
Want to be part of this historic moment? Tickets are still available for the ceremony at the Stade de France. To participate in the celebrations for free, each festivity site, located in every arrondissement, will be airing the ceremony on a large screen.
