Become your arrondissement champion

Participants will compete in seven different sports: table tennis, boccia, breaking, 60-meter run, laser run, 50-meter freestyle swimming and 3x3 basketball. Qualifying rounds will be held from June 22th to July 5th, with each arrondissement hosting for one or more days of competition. For exemple, the 13th arrondissement, the event will be hosted at the Charles-Moureu stadium.
"These events will be held in the heart of each arrondissement, bringing together people from all walks of life. Children, adults or families. With these events, we want everyone to be able to come and have fun, take part and try to become a champion," enthuses Adrian Tocilovac, Sports Advisor for the City of Paris' Youth and Sports Department. "There's something for everyone, with age categories ranging from 7-12 year-olds, 13-16 year-olds, 17-35 year-olds to over-35s. And all events will be mixed! In the case of 3x3 basketball, each team must include at least one girl".

Games tickets to be won

The arrondissement finals will take place on July 6th. The winners will represent their arrondissement at the Parisian finals on July 13th! The 50-meter freestyle final will be held at the Georges-Hermant swimming pool (19th arrondissement), while all other events will take place at the Charléty stadium sports complex (13th arrondissement).
Overall winners in each discipline (and category) will go home with tickets to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games! Although winning doesn't mean you'll miss out! All you have to do is take part in the Arrondissement Olympics to be entered into the draw.
Le Stade Charléty, a venue for great sporting performances
Opened in 1939 and completely renovated in 1994, this 19,000-seater stadium has seen some great sporting events: in 1980, the world pole-vault record was beaten here by Philippe Houvion (5.77 m), member of the Paris Université Club!
Throughout the year, the venue hosts Paris FC's men and women's soccer teams. As well as Paris Volleyball, who have been crowned French champions on multiple occasions.
