Exemptions/Games Pass
These nominative, free-of-charge Games Passes cover three key events in specific geographical areas: the Opening Ceremony (July 18th-26th), the Olympic Games (July 26th-August 11th) and the Paralympic Games (August 28th-September 9th). Only the red perimeters of the competition venues and the grey perimeters (SILT) of the ceremony require a Games Pass.
The system applies differently depending on mode of transport.
To find out whether you need to apply for a Games Pass, please consult this interactive map.
You can apply for a Games Pass for each of two distinct periods: the Opening Ceremony (July 18th - July 26th) and/or the entire Games period (July 26th - September 9th)(opening soon).
For each of these time periods, you must then make a request for your staff (permanent and/or temporary workers, pedestrians, drivers and passengers) and in parallel another request for your vehicle(s).
Applications are online, on the police prefecture's "Pass Jeux" digital platform.
Don't forget to plan ahead!
WARNING: the Pass will not be granted if you simply wish to cross a perimeter.
