How to stay informed
To find out more about the Paralympic Games, as well as the Games Pass, services are available 7 days a week until September 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
- Call 3975, the single information number for the City of Paris or 3430, the Police Prefecture helpline, dedicated to the Games Pass and accessible 24 hours a day
- Additional support is available in arrondissement town halls for people without access to a computer
The security perimeters set up by the Police Prefecture correspond to 3 security zones (blue, red, gray – SILT), activated temporarily or in content, for the entire duration of the Games to ensure the safety of people and the proper organization of the event. These zones of different colors (blue, red, gray) correspond to specific access or circulation measures.
Perimeters of the same color have different rules depending on whether they concern: the ceremony, competition sites and road race courses.

Red perimeter

The red perimeter is a protected area where motorized access is prohibited, except with specific authorization. Access remains possible for pedestrians, bicycles and scooters, without proof of authorization.
During road races, however, cycling and pedestrian traffic will be prohibited on each route. Roads in the vicinity could also be disrupted.
While pedestrians will still be able to use the sidewalks, checkpoints will be set up to allow pedestrians, cyclists and scooters to cross the competition areas. These will be open for set times. It may be necessary to wait a few minutes before crossing, depending on the number of people and the progress of the race. Crossing points will be identified along the entire length of the course to allow emergency vehicles to cross, while ensuring the safety of athletes and spectators. No vehicles will be allowed on the course, except for emergency vehicles.
