Seine left bank quay area

From June 17th until august 2024

From June 17th, the Rives de Seine park on the left bank will be closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic between the Pont de l'Alma and the Pont des Invalides (Port du Gros Caillou).
Cyclists are advised to take the Quais d'Orsay (Quais Hauts) cycle path.
Two access ramps to the lower quays remain open to traffic in this sector: the west ramp of the Pont Royal and the west ramp of the Pont de la Concorde.

Trocadero Area

From June 1st to October 2024

From June 1st, 2024, Avenue des Nations-Unies will be closed to bicycles, pedestrians and vehicles, on both sides of the Jardin du Trocadéro.
Rue Le Nôtre and Avenue Albert de Mun will remain open in both directions and bypass routes will be put in place on Avenue de New-York in both directions (signposted bicycle diversion).

Concorde area

From May, 17th 2024

From May 17, 2024 and until the end of the Olympic Games, several roads will be closed to bicycles, pedestrians and vehicle traffic :
  • The Pont Alexandre III ;
  • The South of the Place de la Concorde : it will not be possible to cross the Place de la Concorde in the North - South direction ;
  • The Cours la Reine is completely closed between the Pont des Invalides and the Pont Alexandre III. Between the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont de la Concorde, only the bicycle path will be closed. Two ways bicycle traffic is still possible on the North of the Cours la Reine, from and towards the avenue Dutuit
Since these closings also apply to pedestrians, it is not possible to cross these areas on foot while carrying your bicycle.
By the docks on the left bank (Quai d'Orsay and Quai Anatole France), through the avenue des Champs-Élysées and through the avenue Dutuit and the Cours la Reine.

From June 1, 2024

Place de la Concorde will be completely closed to bicycle, pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The Concorde tunnel, connecting the Quai de Tuileries to Avenue des Champs Elysées, will also be closed to bicycle traffic. A one-way bypass will be possible via Avenue Gabriel to the west of the square (signposted bicycle detour).
