Saturday, July 27, marked the inaugural road race in Paris, featuring both the women's and men's time trial events. The course ran from the Bois de Vincennes to the center of Paris, passing through Nation, Bastille, the National Assembly and the Invalides. Even with the rain, a large crowd gathered to enthusiastically support the champions throughout the splendid course.
