The monuments were lit up by candelabras, the eyes of the supporters were bright and the starry night illuminated the runners' sneakers… On Saturday evening, Paris lived up to its nickname of "City of Light" when the Marathon pour Tous kicked off. 20,024 enthusiasts set off from the Terrasse des Jeux, set up on the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville, to follow the same route as the Olympic athletes over a mythical distance.
