Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, let your body express itself to the rhythm of the music by taking part in this mini-battle organized by the Ngamb'Art association!
Break dancing developed in the United States in the 1970s. Born of the effervescence of neighborhood parties in the Bronx, New York, and stemming from hip-hop culture, it stands out for its acrobatic dimension, its floor figures and the key role played by both the DJ and the MC (master of ceremonies) during the battles.
Break dancing made its appearance on the program of the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games in 2018. In light of its success, it will enter the world of Olympism even further at the Paris 2024 Games, where it is included in the Olympic Games program as an additional sport (along with surfing, skateboarding and climbing).
To celebrate this discipline, theNgamb'Art association invites you to take part in a mini-battle open to all. Come and join in the fun!
