Fresco in tribute to Marielle Franco

The artist will create a portrait in tribute to Marielle Franco, after whom the garden on rue d'Alsace (^10th arrondissement) is named. The portrait will form part of a fresco to be created by local residents in the run-up to the flame's arrival.

You'll be able to admire this fresco around the Jardin Marielle Franco on July 14, and afterwards in the garden itself.

Since 2022, she has been promoting Alice Milliat and other women who have left their mark on Olympic history.
