With over 15 million visitors expected to come to Paris over the course of the Games, crowds and disruptions could impact urban logistics. Discover our tips and tools for turning this massive event into a business opportunity!
It's a once in a lifetime event! Hosting and organizing the Paris 2024 Games represents a major challenge, as it will shake up urban logistics for more than two months. With this in mind, the City of Paris is committed to helping businesses and professionals anticipate all the constraints likely to disrupt their activities.
Disruptions will heavily affect motorized vehicles throughout Olympic events, disrupting logistics. We recommend that all professionals (retailers, transporters, personal services, etc.) adapt their organization and behavior regarding goods deliveries during this period

Anticipation : stock everything that can be stocked before the Games to reduce the need for supplies during the events.

Adaptation: we advise delivering very early in the morning or very late in the evening to avoid rush hours, delivering on foot or by bike in the most affected areas, or delivering to relay points or automatic lockers to limit logistics and traffic flows.

Postpone: all non-essential deliveries that can be postponed until after the Games.
