During the Games, deliveries within red perimeters are authorized under certain conditions. The Paris Police Prefecture is planning special arrangements for daytime deliveries to certain Olympic sites in Paris.
During the Paris 2024 Games, deliveries will still be possible on foot, by bike, cargo bike, car, van, or truck in all of the red perimeters set up around the Olympic and Paralympic venues and ahead of the ceremony. Only road races are subject to more restrictive constraints, but are less frequent. Delivery procedures are applied differently depending on perimeter activation times and modes of transport. In addition, for certain Olympic venues, the Police Prefecture has introduced special daytime hours for deliveries and heavy maintenance operations using motorized vehicles, subject to obtaining a Games Pass.
The twofold aim is to facilitate deliveries in red perimeters and to guarantee the safety of spectators and athletes throughout the competitions.
Deliveries to Olympic venues
For each of the Olympic venues, deliveries are authorized in three different ways:
-
Motorized deliveries are possible WITHOUT a Games Pass, with no restrictions or receipts when red perimeters are not activated : in the morning and/or evening before or after activation.
-
Motorized deliveries WITH a Games Pass are possible during the day when the perimeters are activated. Time slots have been specifically set aside in the middle of the day by the Police Prefecture. For more information on authorized persons, click here.
-
Deliveries can be made by bike or cargo bike (including electric) throughout the day, with no constraints on time slots or receipts.
Only temporary Olympic venues benefit from time slots specifically arranged by the Police Prefecture, unlike permanent Olympic venues, which do not have arranged time slots.
Finally, during the period between the Olympic and Paralympic phases, i.e. from Monday August 12 to Tuesday August 27, perimeters are not activated, so deliveries are possible at any time and without justification.
Night deliveries are considered as such between 8pm and 7am. Wherever possible, we recommend that you opt for daytime deliveries, and silent deliveries in the middle of the night.
Temporary Olympic venues
Only temporary sites in the Trocadéro, Tour Eiffel - Champ de Mars, Invalides, Grand Palais - Pont Alexandre III - Concorde zones are subject to time slots arranged by the Police Prefecture. To view them, click here.
Permanent Olympic venues
-
Arena Bercy: Perimeter activation days and times
-
Arena Porte de la Chapelle: Perimeter activation days and times
-
Arena Paris Sud: Perimeter activation days and times
Deliveries during road races
For safety and organizational reasons during road races, no traffic exemptions will be granted within the designated red perimeter. This restriction will start 3 hours before the event and will remain in place until the runners or cyclists have passed through, at which point the perimeter will be lifted.

Deliveries before and on the day of the ceremony
Deliveries and maintenance activities are permitted within the red perimeter established in Paris for the eight days leading up to the opening ceremony, from July 18 until July 26 at 1 p.m., with no time constraints or Games Pass requirements. Conversely, within the gray perimeter (SILT) of the ceremony, access is granted only to those with authorization, which includes deliveries, provided they have a Games Pass. Access will only be granted for imperative reasons, and will be managed by the police at the roadblocks. On July 26 from 1 p.m., due to the Ceremony, vehicle access is totally forbidden, except for security and rescue forces and for emergencies.
How does the Delivery Games Pass work?
The Games Pass is compulsory for motorized vehicles on the red perimeter of competition sites, and must be requested for the driver OR the vehicle. We recommend that you apply for a single Vehicle Games Pass if several drivers use the same vehicle. The Games Pass must be presented digitally or with a document when the vehicle is inspected, even in the case of multiple drivers.

What about in blue perimeters?
Access and delivery conditions to the blue perimeters have been relaxed by the Police Prefecture and are not subject to the Games Pass or to special time slots. Deliveries are permitted within the blue perimeter for the duration of the Games, following checks by law enforcement at designated entry points. However, deliveries will not be possible during the road races, as customers will be unable to receive orders.
