The Paris 2024 Games are also those of inclusivity and social integration for the capital. For the past two years, the Solidarités department has been working to ensure that the people it supports also benefit from this great sporting event. Here's an overview of the operations underway.

The mobilization, supported by Paris 2024 and the City of Paris, is materializing around three main areas:
-
The allocation of more than 7,000 free tickets (out of the 50,000 offered by the City of Paris) to the various groups supported by the Solidarités department (residents of EHPAD, members of seniors' clubs, young people in hostels, RSA recipients, users of social and medico-social establishments, residents of shelters, etc.). In the run-up to the Games, over 2,700 tickets for sporting events were also distributed (Rugby World Cup, International Wheelchair Rugby Cup, Roland-Garros, Paris Beach Pro Tour, Para-Athletics World Championships, etc.) to promote the values of sport and the inclusion of everyone in Parisian city life.
-
The implementation of targeted projects like Bouge et Partage, Tous en Piste, Sport Seniors en plein air, and Entrons en Jeux aims to foster sports participation among groups typically distant from such activities. This initiative is designed to facilitate their re-engagement through sports, thereby enhancing social cohesion, health, autonomy, and integration.
-
A festive and inclusive program proposed by the Fabrique de la Solidarité (Paris Centre) throughout the summer of 2024 around solidarity themes: the fighting precariousness and exclusion, helping seniors maintain their independence, inclusion of people with disabilities, prevention and child protection.
