From July 15 to September 11, and as part of the Paris 2024 Games, certain roads include a lane reserved solely for accredited vehicles (athletes, official delegations, emergency vehicles, public transport, etc.). This includes part of the Paris ring road and certain inner-city streets.
From July 15 to September 11, and around the clock, 185 kilometers of road on the national road network, as well as in Paris, are affected by the implementation of Olympic and Paralympic lanes. The road in question is not closed, but one of its lanes is reserved exclusively for vehicles accredited for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Some lanes that were reopened during the inter-Games period will be reactivated on Thursday August 22.
