What if we told you that you could watch the opening ceremony at a unique venue in Paris, free of charge (but subject to registration)? It's quite straightforward: after 4 p.m., simply head to the former town hall of the 1st arrondissement. The building now houses the Quartier Jeunes, one of the city's totemic sites. A festive and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed!

For residents of the 5th arrondissement or visitors strolling around the lively rue Mouffetard, it will of course be possible to watch the ceremonies and events of the Paris 2024 Games on a big screen. The latter is located on the site of the arrondissement's festivities, around the arènes de Lutèce. Honestly, is there a better place to watch the Olympics?

A giant screen will broadcast live the Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies, events and finals.

In the 12th arrondissement

In the distance, between the small, village-like buildings, you can see the high-rise towers that are so characteristic of the arrondissement. The 13th arrondissement is embracing the "grand écart" in its programming for the Paris 2024 Games: at Parc de Choisy, you can catch the events on a large screen and also participate in a massive Just Dance competition!

To watch the Olympic and Paralympic events of the Paris 2024 Games live on the big screen, residents of Paris Centre can head to the Terrasse des Jeux, located on the forecourt of Hôtel de Ville. It will open the day after the ceremony, on Saturday July 27. Find out more about the program here.
